İstanbul Earth(“Site”) processes your personal data in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). This policy explains which data we collect, for what purposes, on what legal grounds, for how long, and outlines your rights.

Data we process

Automatically collected data

• Newsletter subscription: your email address and consent record.
• Contact or collaboration form: your name, email, and the information shared in the message content.

No payments are collected and no membership accounts are created through the Site; therefore, no financial data or passwords are processed.

Processing purposes and legal grounds

• Providing and securing the Site— KVKK Art. 5/2-(ç) legal obligation of the data controller and Art. 5/2-(f) legitimate interest.
• Measuring usage and improving content— analytical cookies subject to your explicit consent (Art. 5/1).
• Serving advertisements— advertising/marketing cookies subject to your explicit consent (Art. 5/1).
• Sending newsletters and responding to your requests— your explicit consent and/or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-(c)).

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data. We only use the infrastructure of the following service providers to the extent necessary to deliver the service:

• Google Analytics— aggregated (non-personally identifiable) usage measurement.
• Google advertising services— programmatic ad delivery and measurement.

These services may process data on servers abroad; transfers are made within the framework of your explicit consent or the conditions set forth in Article 9 of the KVKK. Advertising and analytical cookies only operate if you give your consent.

Retention periods

• Server and security logs: maximum 12 months.
• Analytical data: for the lifespan of the relevant cookie, up to 24 months maximum.
• Newsletter subscription: as long as you maintain your subscription; deleted upon your unsubscription.
• Messages submitted via forms: for the duration required by the request and the 1000 statutory statute of limitations.

Your rights

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, request information regarding it, learn the purpose of processing, request the correction, deletion, or destruction of incomplete or inaccurate data, object to processing, and request compensation for damages. You can submit your requests toinfo@iscik.com; we will finalize your application within a maximum of 30 days.

Data security

We implement administrative and technical measures, including encryption of transmission (HTTPS) and restriction of access, to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, and alteration.
