Kuzguncuk Garden

Kuzguncuk Garden, also known by its former name İlya's Garden, is a multi-purpose social garden and park located in the Kuzguncuk neighborhood of Istanbul's Üsküdar district. It was leased by the Üsküdar Municipality from the Directorate General of Foundations in 2014.The garden features orchards, agricultural areas, hobby gardens, a recreation area, an amphitheater, walking paths, a children's playground, medicinal and aromatic plant areas, and a basketball court. Many special days and events, particularly traditional Hıdırellez celebrations, are also held here. Divided into 100 small plots, 50 of them are allocated to the local residents. The remaining plots are given to schools and neighborhood learning centers. Residents who wish to farm in the garden, which requires residency in Kuzguncuk, submit their applications to the Kuzguncuk Headman's Office.
